Details
- Part Time | 20-25 hours per week
- Remote | South Carolina preferred
- $24,000-30,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and organizational growth aligned with SCAEYC’s mission
- Manage day-to-day operations, communications, and administrative functions
- Support and collaborate with the Board of Directors, including meeting coordination and reporting
- Oversee financial management in partnership with the Treasurer and contracted accounting firm
- Grow and engage membership through programs, outreach and professional development
- Plan and execute the annual conference and other key events
- Serve as liaison to NAEYC and ensure affiliate compliance
- Lead and support public policy and advocacy efforts
- Develop partnerships, sponsorships, and grant opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit leadership, education, or public policy
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with budgeting, fundraising, or grant writing preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Passion for early childhood education and advocacy
